This is the legend of the Duan Wu Jie which i know since i was young. Yesterday, when i read through the newspaper, i was shocked that there were actually many legends regarding this festivals and i was confused. How come there are so many legends? Why i only being exposed to one legend since i was young? I remember i had this topic in my textbook during the primary education N the teacher didn't mention the other stories. Anyway, this was the most famous legend among the legends. Nowadays, most of the youngers don't know the story behind a festival, some even have abondoned the celebration of the festivals.
